Long before there was a blogosphere, I had a short web log. I was working at a job share situation way back in the 90's. My partner suddenly quit and left me with quite a workload.
On the surface the position sounded like a dream. Let's just say I had more stick-to-it-ness than she did. After all I had a family with pre-existing medical conditions that needed good health insurance. After a few years, stressed and worn out, I took an early retirement.
I spent the next years being caretaker to my family, volunteering a bit in the community, and wondering what the next stage of my life will bring.
Anne Dillard wrote, "how we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives". I spend my days reading how to save money, work online making money, reinventing recipes for my picky family, and enough gross stuff to ensure that I will spend the rest of my life trying to be vegan.
My intent in this blog is to share with you what may make your life a little easier and fulfilled.
